Το Εθνικό Σύστημα Ακεραιότητας συνέχεται στο ευρύτερο πλαίσιο του Εθνικού Στρατηγικού Σχεδίου Καταπολέμησης της Διαφθοράς και αποτελεί ένα εμβληματικό έργο 42 συνολικά δράσεων που αποβλέπει στην ενίσχυση της ακεραιότητας και της λογοδοσίας στους φορείς του Δημόσιου Τομέα.
Ορισμένες από τις εμβληματικές δράσεις που περιλαμβάνονται στον πίνακα δράσεων του Ε.Σ.Α. είναι η ενσωμάτωση των αλλαγών στον μηχανισμό παρακολούθησης της πειθαρχικής διαδικασίας στο Δημόσιο, η σύνταξη Κώδικα Ηθικής και Δεοντολογίας Μετακλητών υπαλλήλων καθώς και η ανάπτυξη και λειτουργία ηλεκτρονικού «Μητρώου Διαφάνειας» για τη ρύθμιση δραστηριοτήτων άσκησης επιρροής σε θεσμικούς φορείς της πολιτείας (lobbying).
Παράλληλα, συνιστά τον οδικό χάρτη για τον εκσυγχρονισμό και την ενδυνάμωση των μηχανισμών διαφάνειας, ελέγχου, ακεραιότητας και λογοδοσίας της Δημόσιας Διοίκησης.
Η βασική του στόχευση είναι:
- Η πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση της διαφθοράς στους φορείς της Δημόσιας Διοίκησης
- Η ενίσχυση της διαφάνειας, της ακεραιότητας και της λογοδοσίας
- Η συστηματική ενημέρωση και ευαισθητοποίηση των πολιτών
Υπενθυμίζεται δε, ότι το Εθνικό Σύστημα Ακεραιότητας είχε παρουσιαστεί σε ειδική εκδήλωση τον Ιούλιο του 2022 και η πραγμάτωσή του σε τόσο σύντομο χρονικό διάστημα επιβεβαιώνει την τήρηση της δέσμευσης που είχε αναλάβει ο κ. Βορίδης με σχετικές του δηλώσεις.
Τέλος, σημειώνεται ότι το Εθνικό Σύστημα Ακεραιότητας υλοποιείται από το Υπουργείο Εσωτερικών σε συνεργασία με την Εθνική Αρχή Διαφάνειας.
