Eurojust Counter-Terrorism Seminar

Eurojust, in conjunction with the Czech Presidency of the European Union, is organising a seminar on Counter-Terrorism issues. The seminar takes place on 4 and 5 May 2009 in Prague, the Czech Republic. Journalists are kindly invited to the press conference preceding the seminar.

BACKGROUND

The aim of the seminar is the exchange of best practices and information among judicial and law enforcement authorities focusing on the area of Western Balkan. Speakers from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, will elaborate on the Western Balkans Countries Perspective. The second day will be devoted to practical casework simulations and issues of Evidence Gathering. In that perspective the role of Eurojust and Europol will be analysed.

PRESS CONFERENCE

A press conference is scheduled on 4 May at 12:00 and will be located in the plenary room, hotel Diplomat. The conference will be attended by the keynote speakers of the seminar:
